- Common Hardware Systems 6th Generation (CHS-6) One-on-One Sessions with Industry Notice The Government is interested in holding one-on-one sessions on a first come first serve basis TO INDUSTRY MEMBERS WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN COMPETING ON THE CHS-6 SOURCE SELECTION. It is requested that Industry indicate the general nature of any topic or subject questions in advance. Topics for discussion are limited to the CHS-6 acquisition. Industry should identify any information that it deems proprietary up front so that it is clear what can and cannot be released. Meetings will be held virtually from 29 June to 1 July 2021 on a first come, first serve basis and limited to one (1) hour in duration. The Government reserves the right to limit the number of sessions based on time and availability of Government representation. Ground Rules: Types of information that cannot/will not be shared (proprietary to another member of industry; classified; Source Selection Information; Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System Specifics; previously undisclosed information that may provide an unfair competitive advantage) � Nothing during the one-on-one is a Government commitment or obligation � Data provided is the best information available at the time of the one-on-one � Specifications, requirements, and funding may be adjusted and circumstances may dictate a change to acquisition strategy � Any questions or clarifications after the one-on-one shall flow through the Contracting Officer � do not directly contact the CHS product staff Sidebar and off the record discussions will not be allowed Be prepared to provide a response back on the following questions: Provide your opinion on the length of Period of Performance (PoP) for CHS-6 contract. Please address the following in your response: ��������� a.� Your opinion of a PoP of less than five (5) years. (All options; 1 year, 2 years, etc.) ��������� b.��Your opinion of a PoP more than five (5) years. (Limit is ten (10) years) ��������� c.� Breakout of the number of base year(s) and ordering option period(s). ������ 2.� How can the PoP affect or reduce cost to the Government? ������ 3.� The Government is looking for opportunities to incentivize Industry for cost/price control on the CHS-6 contract. Provide your suggestions on how this could be done and what the benefits to the Government would be. ������ 4.� Is there any other information the Government can provide to increase your participation in the CHS-6 source selection? ������ 5.� If you are a Small Business interested in providing items to the Government, do you have the ability to a drop ship? Do you have the ability to do inspection and acceptance at your facility?
