- Description
- Fire Hydrant Replacements for the Death Valley National Park (NPS-DEVA). The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the U.S. National Park Service (NPS) Office of its requirement for replacement of fire hydrants at Cow Creek and Furnace Creek at Death Valley National Park (NPS-DEVA). Authority: NPS is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-Solicitation Notice. Description: NPS requires services from a contractor with the experience and technical capability to provide the aforementioned construction service above. All associated materials, labor, equipment and incidentals necessary to properly install the fire hydrants as defined the specification shall be included. Place of Performance: Death Valley National Park, Furnace and Cow Creek Maintenance Area, Cow Creek Service Road, Death Valley, CA 92328. Competitive Acquisition: It is anticipated that this will be a competitive acquisition set-aside for Service-disabled Veteran-owned small businesses. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is 213 days from the notice to proceed (NTP) date. Release of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that the release of Solicitation No. 140P8121R0017 is anticipated to be released around July 1, 2021. Should there be any issues arising for this solicitation, the Contracting Officer will provide an update via https://sam.gov/content/home
