- Description
- Hill AFB is in need of storage of F-35 aircraft components removed during repair operations. The removed components become FOM items to be handled and stored under mandated regulation. Specific Vertical Life Modules (VLMs) are the needed storage aid to facilitate this requirement due to high density small footprint parameters, operational safety, FOM Components storage compatibility, and system command interface with Air Force MPS/D230. F-35 FOM components are somewhat fragile and very costly necessitating a VLM storage aid the comprises maximum operational security and greatly controlled operation. In accordance with FAR 12.603(c)(2): This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
