AMENDMENT 1 - SEE BELOW �Synopsis PORTABLE CHILLING AND HEATING UNIT- BNoE-WOSB Set Aside Brand Name or Equal (BNoE) -Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) Set Aside The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, FL (NSWC PCD) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures on a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL basis for a G&D Chillers CH-3/10.5 Fire-N-Ice Portable Chilling & Heating Unit. Delivery will be F.O.B. Origin (Shipping point). Delivery shall be no later than 15 September 2021.� Destination to the Navy Experimental Diving Unit 321 Bullfinch Rd., Panama City, FL 32407. Small Business Size standard 1250 employees, NAICS Code 333415. FSC is 4110. Must have an active SAM CAGE code. This is open to WOSB only. Requirement: *One (1) each G&D Chillers� CH-3/10.5 Fire-N-Ice Portable Chilling & Heating Unit.CH-3/10.5 Fire-N-Ice Portable Chilling & Heating Unit. (Brand Name or Equal) *One (1) each Material delivery� Brand Name or Equal �(a)�If an item in this solicitation is identified as ""brand name or equal,"" the purchase description reflects the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government�s needs. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that ""equal"" products must meet are specified in the solicitation. ������(b)�To be considered for award, offers of ""equal"" products, including ""equal"" products of the brand name manufacturer, must- �����������(1)�Meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation; �����������(2)�Clearly identify the item by- ����������������(i)�Brand name, if any; and ����������������(ii)�Make or model number; �����������(3)�Include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information available to the Contracting Officer; and �����������(4)�Clearly describe any modifications the offeror plans to make in a product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. Mark any descriptive material to clearly show the modifications. ������(c)�The Contracting Officer will evaluate ""equal"" products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. ������(d)�Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an ""equal"" product, the offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. See Salient Characteristics Attached See Clause Attached I will post these to the RFQ as well. Amendment 1 We are looking for a combination chilling and heating unit to be used to maintain and environmental condition within a hyperbaric chamber. ��������������� ��������������� Key requirements that must be met are as follows: 1. The need for mobility and modularity: ��������������� a. The unit must be mobile so that It can be disconnected and stored when not in use. 2. Cooling and heating capabilities: ��������������� a. The unit must be able to provide cold and heat. 3. Flow Requirements 25 gpm: ��������������� a. The unit's glycol flow output must be a minimum of 25 GPM. 4. Max. and min. temperatures: ��������������� a. The unit must be able to cool the glycol mix to the required min temperature parameter of 30F, and heat upwards to 90F. 5. Built-in manifold ��������������� a. The unit must have a built in supply and return plumbing manifold with a minimum of 4 supply connections and 4 return connections to enable multiple configurations to heating and cooling coils. 6. Size ��������������� a. The unit must be no wider than 34"" to permit it within the space that we will be using it. 7. Voltage ��������������� a. Unit must operate off 460V 3-phase power. ��������������� End of Amendment.1
