- This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or�otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. DLA Land Warren is seeking to identify possible sources that can supply: Item Name: High Speed Slip Ring (HSSR) NSN: 5977-01-681-8910 Government Part Number: 13046055 Quantity: 50 End Item: The High Speed Slip Ring (HSSR) provides a pathway for power from the Power Allocation Transfer Hub (PATH) in the hull to the Solid State Power Controller (S2PC) in the turret of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.� The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP), detailed drawings and performance�specifications for this item. Additionally this sources sought announcement is not for a development effort, but�a base amount and 100% option. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10 (Market Research). The purpose of this survey is to�canvas the industry for any possible other sources. This request for capability information does not constitute a�request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The�Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent�exchange of information. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are due no later than 11:59 PM eastern standard time, July�2nd, 2021. Submissions should be emailed to: amy.hahka@dla.mil. However, in order to become an approved source, potential sources will have to participate in the Source�Approval Program through the TACOM Competition Management Office (https://tacom.army.mil/cmo). Potential sources should note: -Qualification testing and evaluation IS REQUIRED to become an approved source. -Source approval DOES NOT guarantee business. -Qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
