DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes dredging approximately 641,500 cubic yards of shoal material from the Intracoastal Waterway from cuts �SJ-01 to SJ-07 in St. Johns County, Florida, to a 12-foot depth plus 2-foot allowable overdepth. All dredged material will be placed in an existing Dredged Managed Material Area (DMMA), DU-9, located approximately 2.0 miles from the northernly extent of the project and 7.5 miles from the southernly extent of the project. Work also includes turbidity monitoring and endangered species monitoring.� A minimum size 16- Foot Cutter Dredge is required. The project is located on the east coast of Florida in St. Johns County, Florida, from the Duval County line south 4.4 miles along the Intracoastal Waterway. The DMMA is located on privately owned and gated property that shall remain secured from entry by unauthorized personnel throughout the project duration.� PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: � The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about June 17, 2021 and bids will be due on or about July 19, 2021. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $15,000,000. The Estimated Period of Performance is 210 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION.� ALL RESPONSIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONTRACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. NOTE: To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern.
