- Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H Johnson VAMC, NCO 7 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source reasonably available for the following items listed below. The associated NAICS code for this is 811219. The vendor will be BBraun, 901 Marcon Blvd, Allentown, PA 18109. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools and parts necessary to provide annual preventative service maintenance on seventeen (17) dialysis units per B. Braun Dialog+ Service Manual, at the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center (109 Bee Street, Charleston, South Carolina). Preventive maintenance is defined as such services which involve inspection and calibration of the dialysis machine and the replacement of expendable parts that Contractor has determined have failed under proper use. Service to be provided for one year with four (4) option years. Services to be included as part of this acquisition is maintenance and repair services conducted by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), B Braun PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: July 1, 2021- June 30, 2022. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for competitive quotes request for offers. No solicitation package is available. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than June 25, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. EST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
