Description

The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a logical follow-on, sole source firm fixed price/labor hour GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) IT-70 task order to Emprata, LLC, a small business, for Broadband Data Collection Systems Development and Implementation services to develop and provide support for custom software code, consistent with the designed data architecture and functional requirements, necessary to implement the production systems. The period of performance for this effort will be a 12-month base period, with four (4) six-month option periods for operations, maintenance, and other related activities. The total estimated value is less than $9.5M. This sole source task order action is pursuant to authority based on FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) (�In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures.�) for the aforementioned requirement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Broadband Data Collection initiative. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
