- Intent to Sole Source The US Coast Guard Director of Operational Logistics (DOL-94), Norfolk, VA, intends to award a Sole Source contract to The Carlisle & Finch Company, to provide their model RLXE5202���2.5 KW Xenon-Arc Range Lanterns, and their paired model 5206PS2WP Power Supply/Control Boxes, for the Coast Guard�s Aids to Navigation Program at Sector Hampton Roads Virginia. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by Other Than Full and Open Competition is citations 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).� Only one responsible source and no other supply/service will satisfy requirements. The determination has been made to limit competition to �The Carlisle & Finch Company, whom is the manufacturer of the proprietary products. This is a sole source notice, published for informational purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposal.� Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement.� However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement by 2:00 PM Eastern, 29 June 2021, that provides sufficient details in meeting the manufacturers specifications,� for consideration by the Agency, via email to:� Michael.w.stephenson@uscg.mil.�� All interested sources will be considered.� The determination not to compete the requirement, based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Oral communications are not accepted in response to this notice.� All questions or comments regarding this notice shall be addressed in writing to Mike Stephenson, Purchasing Agent,�� �Email �Michael.w.stephenson@uscg.mil
