- Solicitation #: �21-009578 Closing Date: June 27 at 10:00 EST Date Posted: June 21, 2021 This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.� The Center for Cell Engineering (CCE), a part of Clinical Center is responsible for the manufacture of human cells and tissue-based products utilized in phase I/II clinical protocols for transplantation, adoptive immunotherapy and gene therapy conducted in the Clinical Center at the NIH. Cell processing procedures are tailored to each of the 30 or more different patient-care clinical research protocols supported. Also, regarding Institute research support. The Seahorse XFe96 FluxPak, XF real-time ATP rate assay kit, Seahorse XF Cell Mito Stress Test Kit, and Seahorse XF Glycolysis Stress Test Kit with their media quantify the rate of ATP production from glycolysis and mitochondrial simultaneously, assesses mitochondrial function and measures the capacity of the glycolytic pathway after glucose starvation using label- free technology in live cells. The NIH, CC intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Agilent Technologies on a sole source basis �only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
