Description

The US Army Contracting Command-New Jersey, on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command, (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) Artillery Fire Control Division, intends to solicit and award a 12 month Firm Fixed Price (FFP) follow-on purchase order for Artillery Fire Control Division support for VxWorks V6.9 software licenses to Avnet, Inc. doing business as USI Electronics, 2775 W Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309-1750. This action is a brand name restriction. The justification to limit competition cites authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.
