THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), ARS, PWA located in Aberdeen,ID �has a requirement for plasmid vector construction of two plasmids. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine if there are adequate vendors available capable of providing the requirement. The NAICS Code is 541380 The PSC will be AJ12. In response to this sources sought notice please submit information on your company's capabilities to provide this type of service. Please also provide information on whether your company is the manufacturer or a distributor and a small or large business in accordance with the NAICS code listed in this sources sought notice. The Government acknowledges that responses to this source sought notice are not binding offers. The information obtained will assist in our market research and future solicitation processes. The purpose of this sources sought is solely to obtain information and sources for our future requirements. No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. STATEMENT OF WORK Vector 1: 1.pRGEB32 plasmid containing one gRNA driven by rice U3 promoter and Cas9 gene driven by rice ubiquitin 10 promoter; 2. The plasmid should have hygromycin resistance marker for agrobacterium transformation; 3. The plasmid need to be delivered within 6-months of any award. Vector 2: 1.pRGEB32 plasmid containing two gRNAs,� each of them will be driven by rice U3 promoter, and Cas9 gene driven by rice ubiquitin 10 promoter; 2. The plasmid should have hygromycin resistance marker for agrobacterium transformation; 3. The plasmid need to be delivered within 6-months of any award.
