Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source, with Accruent, Austin, TX�for the purpose of renewing the Annual Support Agreement (ASA) for EMS perpetual Enterprise licenses associated with its conference room scheduling management software which includes end user support and maintenance update/upgrade service. �This is a sole source inasmuch as Accruent�is the exclusive developer, seller and marketer of the software within the US. �Access to EMS Enterprise is not available on-line through any other interface or vendor.� Any technical support and minor/major release update/upgrade maintenance service for NIST's existing EMS�Enterprise perpetual license is only available through the software developer, Accruent.� A firm fixed-price purchase order will be negotiated and issued on or about 8 Sep 2021 for a 12-mo. period and include (4) 12-mo. option periods. �No solicitation package will be issued. �This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. �Inquiries will only be accepted via e-mail to randy.schroyer@nist.gov. �The government will consider responses received by 5:00PM, EST, 1 Jul 2021. �Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. �This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a request for competition. �No telephone requests will be honored.
