Description: This is a Request for Information (RFI) announcement only.� Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Advanced Light Source Upgrade (ALS?U) project, is seeking to procure a prototype fabricated steel assembly (raft) along with an associated base support assembly and embedded plate that are designed to support a variety of electromagnets.� The scope of work includes manufacture, quality assurance, packaging and delivery of the specified magnet raft and base support weldments, and the embedded plate.� No engineering or analysis is required by the vendor to produce the specified hardware.� 3D CAD models are available upon request
