- Description
- The Air Force Work Interest Navigator (AF-WIN), hosted under contract on Airforce.com by Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS), is an enlisted vocational interest tool used to identify good-fit enlisted career fields for new recruits and existing re-training Airmen. During the 10-15 minute survey users provide interest ratings on items spanning Air Force functional communities (how jobs contribute to the mission), job contexts (where/how the job takes place), and generalized work activities (activities performed the job). The survey then calculates person-job fit scores for enlisted jobs based on similarity between the job and users interests. Rank-ordered results are then presented to the user with job-related profile information, filters based on job requirements (e.g., ASVAB), links to Airforce.com, and the opportunity to contact a recruiter. The purpose of this requirement is to streamline and improve the efficiency of updates and revisions of survey content to be delivered to the Recruiting Service AF-WIN program managers (and does NOT involve interaction with any IT platform(s) hosted by Air Force Recruiting Service).Identified AF-WIN survey content included in the current effort include 1) survey item images, 2) post-survey content filter values, and 3) occupational snapshot profile information. The general approach for this project shall be to review and document current AF-WIN content maintenance processes developed by HQ AFPC/DSYX, identify and develop methods to streamline content maintenance processes, and deliver finalized solutions with sufficient documentation to HQ AFPC/DSYX so that transition of update/revision duties of the AF-WIN can be initiated with the owning organization AFRS.
