SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 45th Contracting Squadron (45 CONS), is publicizing this Sources Sought Notice to gather industry information and input with respect to anticipated construction of a new emergency access gate at the existing perimeter fence at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB). The government is interested in Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 237310. The size standard for NAICS is $39,500,000.00. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction for this project is between $500,000 and $900,000. 45 CONS is currently seeking Small Business firms capable of providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to accomplish the requirement for construction of a new emergency access gate at the existing perimeter fence at Patrick Space Force Base. �Install new sliding gate and DoD certified anti-ram vehicle barrier. Install concrete driveway extension to highway A1A minor modifications to median within FDOT right-of-way. Remove existing gate, barrier and driveway at old fire station and replace with chain link fence and cable barrier system. Provide the government a complete and usable facility in accordance with the Project Drawings and Specific on Patrick SFB (PSFB), FL.� The NAICS 237310 is primarily engaged in the construction of highways (including access structures), streets, roads, airport runways, public sidewalks, or bridges. All work shall be done in accordance with requirements contained in the contract specifications, attached drawings, and applicable laws/regulations for complete and usable roadway systems. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is in support of market research being conducted by 45 CONS to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with project SXHT 18-1060. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of Small Business firms that can support this requirement as a prime contractor. The government requests interested parties to submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm�s capabilities in providing the required services. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. Recent, relevant experience in all areas should be provided. Include in your capabilities package your DUNS, Cage Code, and System for Award Management (SAM) expiration date.
