Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) and the Office of Marine and Aviation Operation (OMAO), using the procedures set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with North Pacific Crane Company (North Pacific) located at 10734 Lake city Way NE, Seattle WA 98125 for a firm-fixed price contract for the manufacturing of a Telescopic Boom Crane Set for NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN. The crane set shall include Electro-Hydraulic Fixed boom slewing crane with main boom, 1st and 2nd stage telescope boom, main winch, wire rope, load block with safety latch, over booming cut out, floodlights, slip ring, horn, water-tight hatch, and hoses / fittings.�
