- Description
- This solicitation is for a travel trailer to be used by Forest Service personnel as temporary living quarters on our National Grasslands and National Forests. Travel conditions will vary from highways to poorly graded road surfaces.� Occasional rough-road service is expected which may subject the trailer to high impact and torsional loads beyond that encountered during normal use.� The trailer shall be ruggedly constructed by incorporating first-class materials and workmanship throughout to withstand the conditions to which it will be subjected.�� This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05, effective as of March 10, 2021.� The selection process will consist of a Best Value source selection based on past performance, technical capability�and price. Under a Best Value source selection, non-price evaluation factors, when combined are equal to price.� However, the Contracting Officer will not select an offeror for award on the basis of a superior capability without consideration of the price amount.� The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government will consider technical, past performance and price. Quoter shall supply any other material that will provide the Government with product information to evaluate their quote.��� The Government will consider all quotes received until the time of contract award.�� This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside.� The NAICS code for this solicitation is 336214.� All quotes and questions�shall be emailed to Andrew Hopkins at Andrew.Hopkins2@usda.gov along with a signed copy of the�attached�Amendment (form SF30) (fill out section 8.
