Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires the delivery and installation of a saltwater aquarium display tank, with a delivery date of no later than September 30, 2021. Basis of Award:� Best value to the government specifically lowest price technically acceptable.� Technical Capability shall be based on meeting the essential salient features as identified within the incorporated statement of need; drawings, etc. that demonstrates that all essential salient features will be met; and experience (past performance).� Contractor must provide three references which demonstrate three (3) years (current) of performance for supplying and servicing tensile strength testing machines.� The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside.� The NAICS code is 712130.� The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05, effective March 10, 2021.� The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the lowest price technically acceptable. RFQ will be available on or about June 25, 2021, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number is 1333F�21�Q�NFFM-0045? Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on July 13, 2021. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 (Commercial Acquisition) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition)). All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
