- FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AUCTION SYSTEM TESTING THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. FURTHER, IT DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This notice of intent to sole source is hereby issued and posted in accordance with FAR 5.201. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) intends to award a sole source, labor hour contract , for Auction System Testing, to Technatomy Corporation, under the authority of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(C)� ��The order must be issued on a sole-source basis In the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order.�. The FCC intends to negotiate with the current contractor, Technatomy Corporation. This contract is with NITAAC CIO-SP3, Technatomy Corporation contract number HHSN316201200067W. The order is a firm fixed priced/labor hour order with twelve (12) month base period and two optional twelve (12) month option years.� This action is a logical follow-on to order 273FCC20F0123 which was competitively awarded to Technatomy on 07/31/2020 and does not change the period of perfomance. The purpose of this requirement is in support of acceptance testing of the auction systems, including integration and connection points in the associated systems of the continued operations of the Office of Economics and Analysis (OEA), Auctions Division. All questions regarding this notice shall be directed to James Batten via email at james.batten@fcc.gov. The subject line must state �Auction Systems Testing - Company Name - Questions.� All questions must be received via email no later than 12:00pm on or before Tuesday, June 28, 2021.
