- Description
- This request for proposal (RFP) is to upgrade the existing condenser water filtration, controls and piping system at the DISA facility in San Antonio, TX, to improve reliability, energy use, and redundancy in order to meet DOD standards.� The contractor is required to enhance the cooling towers, replace piping, adjust the water pump, run temporary chillers for redundancy testing and adjust the water filtration controls. This Capital Equipment project is working on the IT only mechanical system and is separate from the building mechanical system. A site visit will be offered at the place of performance identified in the PWS for the Raised Floor Upgrade project, Data Center San Antonio, TX.� The site visit is scheduled for March 31,�2021 with two sessions, one at 9:00 am and another at 1230 pm �Central Time (CDT) during which contractors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. Offerors are strongly urged to attend this site visit to fully inform themselves about the location and conditions under which the work is to be performed. Questions should be addressed to mark.e.kraft2.civ@mail.mil.� Please provide any questions, in writing, no later than April 09, 2021 at 2:00pm (CST).� The Government reserves the right to not answer questions submitted after this time. Amendment 0001 posted on April 06, 2021 to add pictures of the water filtration system as requested by contractors during the site visit that was held on March 31, 2021. Amendment 0002 adds two technical drawings, Q&A spreadsheet and extends the closing date from April 21, 2021 to April 30, 2021. Amendment 0003 adds the revised PWS and technical drawing (R) as a result of the Q&A. The closing date remains unchanged at April 30, 2021. Amendment 0004 adds travel CLIN 0002, updates the PWS and RFP information. The closing date is extended to June 18, 2021. Amendment 0005 is issued to request Final Proposal Revisions (FPRs) and update the closing date to July 07, 2021.
