- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Bamako, Mali will launch the solicitation on the https://beta.sam.gov/ website when it is available.� The purpose of this firm, fixed price contract is to obtain digital telephone trunk services and circuitry for the� US Embassy Compound in Bamako, Mali. The telecommunications local exchange company (LEC) contracting firm shall provide digital telephone trunk services over fiber optic or copper cabling to the public switched telephone network (PSTN). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.� The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price.� The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions. The anticipated performance is for one base period of twelve months and four one-year option periods, at the option of the Government. The option to exercise these option years is unilateral decision by the U.S. Embassy. Prospective offerors must be able to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements for operating in Mali including Telecommunication Regulatory of Mali. The solicitation (SF1449), all attachments, and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing from the beta.sam.gov website.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the beta.sam.gov website for the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov� prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.�Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.�The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.sam.gov/SAM/
