Description

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) to Cepeda Associates to provide technical services to PHNSY & IMF for the removal, overhaul, and reinstallation�of #1 and #2 scrubbers and #1 and #2 burners onboard a Los Angeles-class submarine. Cepeda Associates is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is the only one that can perform this work onboard Naval 688 Class Submarines.� In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice (ID# N32253-21-R-0011) was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), beta.sam.gov, from 22 June 2021 � 25 June 2021�to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. Note: The N32253-21-R-0011�solicitation document is available upon request to those interested parties who submitted capability statements. Please email both the primary and secondary point of contacts listed in this posting to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through�Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2021-05, DFARS (last updated 05/20/2021), and NMCARS 18-17. This pre-solicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
