THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract, to Amee Bay LLC. A Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The basis of this J&A is Navy letter 9610, Ser07 T222/521, dated 26 October 2006, which provided process certification and�authorized utilization of contracted services by Amee Bay LLC in support of 688/726/21 Class Subarine Ships Service Motor Generators (SSMG), Ships Service Diesel Generators (SSDG), and Emergency Propoulsion Motors (EPM) in-place.�The period of performance is estimated to be 19 AUGUST 2021 through 4 OCTOBER 2021. PSNS&IMF intends to acquire refurbishment of Number 1 and 2 Ship Service Motor Generator�(SSMG) sets onboard a SEAWOLF�Class Submarine. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) has been provided as an attachment. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may indentify their interest and capabilities. To do so, respond to this requirment no later than 2 JULY 2021, 03:00 PM, PST.� A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether�refurbishment on Number 1 and 2 SSMG sets onboard a SSN 21 Class Submarine.to conduct a competitive procurement. PSNS&IMF will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. As a result of anyalyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A21R0807 SUBMARINE SSMG REFURBISHMENT in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convicing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satifsy the requrirements listed above to Andrew Skelley, Contract Specialist, by email at andrew.skelley@navy.mil. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
