- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation � Acquisition� Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for EWP Construction for Streambank Stabilization along Wilcox and Jessie Creek Roads in Meigs County, Ohio.� �� This is a streambank stabilization project along Wilcox and Jessie Creek Roads that requires drainfill, channel clearing and shaping and emplacement of grouted rock riprap. The job consists of 79 C.Y. of Grouted Rock Riprap, 52 C.Y. of Woven Wire Mesh Gabions, associated drainfill with 17 tons of Rock Riprap, and channel clearing and shaping� � Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.� This opportunity will be a Total Small Business set-aside.� The full solicitation package will be posted and available from this website on or around Thursday, July 13, 2021. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.� Payment Bond (SF-25A), Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC), or a Tripartite Escrow Agreement in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract.� The anticipated period of performance for this project is 20 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.� The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237790, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.� The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $39.5M. The site visit will be held at 11:00EST on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.� Attendees may meet at the Jessie Creek Rd EWP site, on Jessie Creek Road 0.2 miles South of the intersection with Titus Rd (Township Road 12) and Wilcox Rd (Township Road 354).� Jessie Creek Road is also known as Township Road 641 in Rutland Township, Meigs County, Ohio. � Questions shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist and answers will be provided in an amendment.
