Description

The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch, Regional Health Contracting Office � Central, Army Health Contracting Activity, MEDCOM, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Lloyd Table Company Inc. a Small business concern, Veteran-owned small business concern, Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern, and Small disadvantaged business concern as defined in 13 CFR 124.1002., under the authority of USC 2304 (c)(1); as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization for two (2) Lloyd brand Galaxy (Chiropractor Treatment) tables (Item no. #6743932/Model #900HS) for the Chiropractic/Occupational Health Department at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH), Missouri, 4430 Missouri Ave., Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473-8952. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113 �Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing.� The Small Business size is 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for two (2) Lloyd brand Galaxy (Chiropractor Treatment) table(s) (Item no. #6743932/Model #900HS). The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deems only one source reasonably available. The Fort Hood Health Contracting Office � Central intends to make a sole source award to Lloyd Table Company, 102 W. Main St., Lisbon IA 52253.
