- (i) This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P4321Q0038. ***** (ii) This solicitation is issued as Request for Quote #140P4321Q0038. NOTE: The Interested Vendors option through beta.SAM is not functioning for Department of the Interior solicitations at this time. If a vendor selects that beta.SAM function, the Issuing Office will not have access to the list of Interested Vendors. Interested Vendors are urged and expected to check beta.SAM often for changes to the solicitation and for the Award Notice. The -Follow- button function in beta.SAM should aid Interested Vendors in staying abreast to any changes to the solicitation on beta.SAM. ***** (iii) FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. ***** (iv) The proposed purchase order is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423310, Lumber (e.g., dressed, finished, rough) merchant wholesalers (https://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/);. The small business size standard is 150 employees. (https://www.sba.gov/contracting/getting-started-contractor/make-sure-you-meet-sba-size-standards/table-small-business-size-standards). All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which shall be considered by the National Park Service (NPS). ***** (v) Refer to the Quote Price List attached to Standard Form 1449 (SF1449), Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items, for a list of line item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure (including option(s), if applicable). ***** (vi) Description of requirements for each line item: The Cape Cod National Seashore seeks quotes for Cedar Beams and 316 Stainless Steel Fasteners to make repairs to the Cranberry Bog Bridge. See Attachment 0001, Specification, for Cedar Heartwood and Stainless Steel specifications. ***** (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and F.o.b. point: F.o.b. point is the National Park Service, Cape Cod National Seashore, 99 Marconi Site Road, Wellfleet MA 02667. ***** (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision can be accessed at https://www.acquisition.gov/browsefar. In addition to the requirements noted in 52.212-1; quotes shall contain the documents and information noted in below. ***** (ix) FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provision can be accessed at https://www.acquisition.gov/browsefar. The specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of the provision are noted below. ***** (x) FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Quoters shall complete provision 52.212-3 at the Government's System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1. ***** (xi) FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
