- EFFECTIVE 29 JUNE 2021: The Chicago District has posted Amendment No. 0001 hereunder this Notice (please refer to the Attachments Section). This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for commercial items issued pursuant to FAR Subpart 12. Under this notice, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District (USACE) is issuing a Request for Quotations�(RFQ)�for:� CSSC ELECTRIC FISH BARRIER POWER QUALITY BUILDING UPS REPAIR,�LOCKPORT, ILLNOIS A.��GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS:� This acquisition is pursuant to the provisions set forth by Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, �Commercial Items.� In this acquisition, the contractor provide all necessary�management, personnel, services, tools, meters, parts, materials, supplies, equipment except as otherwise identified�herein to conduct repair to the Aquatic Nuisance Species Barrier (�Fish Barrier�) Power Quality Building�Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS- Model: 9395-1100-1100-CW; S/N: EJ084BAA01 & EJ084BAA02). Pricing shall include parts, materials, deliveries, and any incidentals to perform the entire work described in the scope of work. COMPETITION FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESSES.�AN OFFEROR MUST BE HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT WHEN PLACING AN OFFER/PROPOSAL PACKAGE FOR THIS ACQUISITION.� REGISTRATION CAN BE COMPLETED FREE OF CHARGE AT�www.sam.gov. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code�335999�with a Small Business size standard of 500 employees. SUBMITTAL DUE DATE AND TIME: The Contractor submittal packages must be received by the USACE - Chicago District Office no later than 5:00 p.m. (Central Time) on JULY 12, 2021. Please reference the subject solicitation number on all correspondence. Detailed submittal requirements are contained in the Solicitation document. IMPORTANT NOTES: IN THE CASE OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE DATES PUBLISHED IN THIS NOTICE AND THOSE CALLED OUT IN THE ATTACHED RFQ DOCUMENT, THE DATES IN THE RFP DOCUMENT OVERRIDES THOSE PUBLISHED HEREIN THIS NOTICE; THIS IS RELATIVE TO THE RFP ISSUANCE DATE AND THE DUE DATE FOR SUBMITTAL PACKAGES.
