Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) / Design System � THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY.� This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes � the U.S. Government (USG) is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� This RFI does not commit USG to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.� 1.0 Background The Army Contracting Command � Rock Island in support of the JAIC, is seeking to identify sources to support the joint design system and the development of the JAIC Design system will enable the JAIC to leverage its influence as an innovative leader within the Department to disseminate best practices and lessons learned on implementing a design system.� The JAIC�s emphasis will be on creating / maintaining an open dialogue with users, conducting outreach campaigns, focusing on all aspects of the product lifecycle, maintaining a repository of user personas, customer journey maps, and other human-centered design research artifacts. 2.0 Scope The Contractor shall identify and provide support for ALL of the three main tasking areas: Task 1 � JAIC Design Support Provide subject matter expertise and support services for User Experience Design activities for multiple AI implementations supporting military user groups. Collaborate with Cross-functional Team members and user groups to ensure that operational prototypes are useful, intuitive, and understandable. The contractor shall develop architectural concepts, technical designs, schedule tradeoffs, and new opportunities with technical team members to support the JAIC Design system. Provide advisory support and assistance to the user experience design integration for DoD end user.� Translate end user needs into concepts to inform user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Support the design and delivery of wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Task 2 � Marketing The contractor shall support the JAIC Design Support system by efficiently and effectively identifying, engaging, and accelerating the customer experience with the JAIC.� The vendor shall execute a myriad of marketing activities to include but is not limited to: Supporting the JAIC engage the right DoD stakeholders through marketing methodologies and tools, build and scale automated marketing campaigns, determine how marketing and channels impact mission success, leverage DoD data and sophisticated journey flows to identify, engage, and accelerate JAIC opportunities. Task 3 � Video Production Provide video and multimedia production services to facilitate critical strategic communication initiatives that support the Department of Defense (DoD) Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy and the JAIC�s communication strategy.� The contractor will provide video production support that will include but is not limited to: Storyboard and planning for video and animation production, video production, and animation videos. There will be separate CLINs for ODC and travel. ODCs can include but are not limited to all software, licenses, and hardware. 3.0 Instructions The USG is submitting this RFI to obtain critical feedback from industry. Those who submit a response are advised that the USG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense.� In accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by the USG to form a binding contract.� No classified, confidential or sensitive information shall be included in your response.� The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the USG.� 4.0 Responses All interested parties shall submit their responses to the Government No Later Than 5:00p.m. EST 13 July 2021 via email to Ms. Meagan Cagle, meagan.b.cagle.civ@mail.mil.�� Do not submit a proposal or quote.
