Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a), Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award. This RFI will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received via e-mail to chellry.whittier@va.gov no later than 9:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (EDT) on July 07, 2021. This notice will help the VA in determining available potential sources only. All firms responding to this Request for Information are advised that their response is not a request for quote, therefore, will not be considered for a contract award. If a solicitation is issued, the information will be posted on Contract Opportunities https://beta.sam.gov for all qualified interested parties at a later date, and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for award. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supplies or services.
