- Description
- SOLE SOURCE/NOTICE OF INTENT The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, TX 78150, intends to release a sole source, firm-fixed-price modification to New Innovations LLC. The action will be executed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation IAW FAR 6.303-1 and FAR 6.305(d). See attached redacted Sole Source Justification for additional details. The requirement is to provide the following: Increase CLIN quantities from 665 units to 700 units. This affects CLINs 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001. New Innovations (NI) is a web-based software application used by the Medical Education Training Campus (METC). METC's program directors and coordinators to help manage their post-graduate medical residents. This modification to increase quantities from 665 to 700 is essential to provide enough licenses for personnel that need to acquire training. Without the accreditation, the 59th Medical Wing will not be able to train 600+ physicians annually and 200+ board eligible graduates we send to operational commands. The San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) trains more Air Force physicians than any other Air Force Military Training Facility. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal. However, interested parties may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill the requirement via email to Catherine.hardy@us.af.mil with a copy to rachel.demone@us.af.mil no later than 31 July 2021 at 2:00PM Central Time. Any costs incurred in submitting a capabilities statement will not reimbursed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
