- Description
- This Notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions.� This is a notice of intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is Far 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District intends to include brand specific requirements in its solicitation numbered W912DR21R0053. This project consists of the renovation construction of renovation of six general officer homes. The buildings are located between 1st and 2nd Avenues on Fort McNair in Washington, DC. The buildings were originally designed in the Colonial Revival style by McKim, Meade and White and constructed between 1903 and 1905. ��These building will (each) require the purchase of the following items. Interior Distribution System: Utility Meter by Emon Dmon: This project requires these components to be compatible with the JBMHH�s central advanced metering system. Air Supply, Distribution, Ventilation, and Exhaust Systems, Air Handling Unit by JCI AMI: This project requires these components as they match and fit to existing ductwork and piping. Other equipment will not fit in the limited existing spaces. Air Supply, Distribution, Ventilation, and Exhaust Systems: Fan Coil Units by JCI FWX: This project requires these components as they fit to existing piping. Air Supply, Distribution, Ventilation, and Exhaust Systems: Ceiling Mounted Bathroom Exhaust Fan and Wall Mounted Bathroom Exhaust Fan by Broan Nutone: This project requires that this component be provided by this manufacturer�s product line to provide a style consistent with the historic architecture of the house and the aesthetics within the room. Air Supply, Distribution, Ventilation, and Exhaust Systems: Baseboard heaters by Runtal Radiators This project requires that this component be provided by this manufacturer�s product line to provide a style consistent with the historic architecture of the house and the aesthetics within the room. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later 11:00 AM Eastern Time on July 14, 2021 to Aaron.G.Jones@usace.army.mil. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
