- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� This competition is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 335911, Storage Battery Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250.��� This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06 dated June 10, 2021 and Defense Publication Notice 20210603 dated June 3, 2021.�� The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) has a requirement for a Maintenance Service Agreement (base + 4 option years), and 80 Replacement Batteries for GE TLE Series 250kVA.
