- NOTE (July 24, 2020): This is to inform the interested Vendors that Amendment #0001 is attached to this posting to: - Modify Sections J, L and M; - Modify Line Item 0002; - Reply to requests for information; - Postpone the due in date from July 27, 12:00 p.m. ""noon"" (local time, Rome, Italy), to August 7, 2020, 12:00 p.m. ""noon"" (local time, Rome, Italy). NOTE (June 26, 2020): This is to inform the interested Vendors that: The solicitation package including the pertinent documentation are attached to this posting, attachment #1 trough attachment #10, included. The due in date has been established on July 27, 2020, 12:00PM Noon (local time, Rome, Italy). Reminder - Funds are not presently available for this acquisition; no contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available. See FAR clause 52.232-18 (AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS). NOTE (May 7, 2020): This is to inform the interested Vendors that, due to the current COVID19 emergency, the site visit has been scheduled on July 10, 2020, 10:00AM, meeting site: GATE 4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties will be invited to indicate, or confirm, their interest by submitting an email not later than Close of Business (COB) by May 29, 2020, to elisa.orsini2.ln@mail.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number and the name of the company, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and name(s) of the person(s) who will be present at the site visit (maximum two persons): first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, type and number of identification document. Please attach the Identification Document to the e-mail. Only the persons who have provided the personal data will be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the Gate. The offerors not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the Base. PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: ED 00165-7, construct softball field darby south, Darby Military Community, ITALY SOLICITATION NUMBER: W912PF-20-R-0003 Description of the project: This is a Design-Build project. Phase 1 (Design) Description: The work in this phase consists of designing the details, providing calculations and whatever necessary to define in scale all parts of work required to fulfill the scope of work, consisting of the construction of a standard Co-Ed Slow-pitch Softball Field in the area South of the main gate (Gate 4) at Camp Darby.� A lighting system and an irrigation system for the new field are also included in the Scope. The construction of the lighting system will be optional, but its design will be part of the basic item. The following documentation will be available and is provided as supporting material, in the electronic version: Pdf layout of the area where the construction will occur, with contours; Plan of the Area, pdf version, with layout of proposed construction and of existing elements; Wiring diagrams of electrical panel SC3, SC4, SC5, SC6, SC7, SC8; Geotechnical report, pdf version, applicable to the area where the construction will happen, dated 1999. Phase 2 (Construction) Description: Provide construction of all features of the project as designed in phase 1 and approved, in accordance with proposed and approved design and progress plan. Construction will include basic items and (only if awarded) optional item. Construction will start upon final approval of design, and will last as per the enclosed progress plan (enclosure 1). All design and construction work shall be performed in full accordance with applicable Italian and United States laws, regulations, codes, whichever is more restrictive at contract award date. This includes any required certification by engineers licensed in Italy. Funding:� The project is currently not funded. Location of the work: The site of the proposed work is Darby Military Community, Livorno, Italy. Magnitude of the project: The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 AND $500,000.00. SOA category: OG1 Classification II, OR OS24, Classification II. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) resulting in a firm fixed price contract.� Performance period: The Performance Period will be 135 calendar days for design plus 150 calendar days for construction (or 180 calendar days if the optional item is included), for a total of 285 calendar days (or 315 calendar days if the optional item is included). SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on April 7, 2020, 10:00 Hrs, meeting site: GATE 4 (Darby Area), via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa). HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties will be invited to indicate their interest by submitting an email not later than Close of Business (COB) by March 4, 2020, to elisa.orsini2.ln@mail.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number (W912PF-20-R-0003) and the name of the company, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and name(s) of the person(s) who will be present at the site visit (maximum two persons): first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, type and number of identification document. Please attach the Identification Document to the e-mail. A legible copy of the identification document(s) has to be provided. If the person(s) has/have entry pass(es), a copy of the pass(es) has/have to be provided.� Only the persons who have provided the personal data will be allowed to attend the site visit. Not indicating interest as described above does not preclude the quoter from participating in this requirement.
