- EFFECTIVE JUNE 30, 2021: See the Attachments Section of this notice where the full attendance sheet from the site visit is enclosed.� Please note, the file title contains a typo - the RFP number should have read ""W912P621R0003.""� Thus, the enclosed file does relate to this Solicitation even though an incorrect number was entered in�the file title.� EFFECTIVE JUNE 30, 2021: The government has attached the attendance sheets from the Virtual Pre-Proposal meeting held on June 28, 2021 via Webex and the In-person Pre-Proposal Site Visit held on June 29, 2021 (please refer to the ""Attachments"" Section of this Notice).� ATTENTION INTERESTED CONTRACTORS� - Below are the particulars for tomorrow�s site visit (Tuesday, June 29, 2021), which will be conducted by the Chicago District at 10:00 a.m.�(Central Time). Site visit participants are instructed to obtain their visitor badges and view the safety video at BP Visitor Center at 2815 Indianapolis Blvd. https://goo.gl/maps/crDs5ERW1Ph7Wp9i7 Then proceed to a Meeting Area outside the J&L Gate at 3605 129th Street.� Upon turning off of 129th, please park in the gravel area to the left. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant Request for�Proposals solicitation package for the�construction project entitled, ""LAKE GEORGE CANAL MIDDLE SECTION RESTORATION, LAKE COUNTY, INDIANA."" � PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the Contract, the contractor will be required for remediation of contaminated sediment within the Lake George Canal � Middle Section. The work includes placement of an amended sand cap over existing sediment, bank stabilization, installation of a geotextile, sheetpile installation, ecosystem restoration, and related work. CONTRACTING OFFICE: USACE Chicago District, 231 SOUTH LaSALLE STREET, SUITE 1500, Chicago, IL 60604 � ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is FULL AND OPEN, UNRESTRICTED TO BUSINESS SIZE. The North American Industry�System Classification Code is 237990, with a small business size standard in�dollars of $39.5M. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated�between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The Solicitation package (Request for Proposal - ""RFP"") is�downloadable from this�INTERNET SITE ONLY. The package is a Portable Document Format (PDF) file and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
