- This is a presolicitation notice only for Nome Harbor Breach Bridge Repairs in Nome, Alaska. Offer or proposals will not be accepted for this notice. This solicitation will be a Full and Open Competitive Procurement. Any resulting contract will be firm-fixed priced. The solicitation for this project will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY and the anticipated download availability date for this solicitation will be on or about 15 July 2021. Access to the documents will be through a link on the Sam.gov website: http://www.SAM.gov/. Use the Search function and use this solicitation number to Search by Solicitation/Award Number. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from the SAM.gov website. The Contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and procedures. The Construction Wage Rates (formerly Davis-Bacon Act) will apply. This project is contingent on availability of funds. If the project is cancelled, all proposal preparation costs will be borne by the offeror. All offerors are advised that they must be registered in SAM.gov (http://www.SAM.gov/) in order to receive an award. Joint ventures must also be registered in SAM.gov as a joint venture. Offerors are advised to begin this process when they prepare their proposal in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for award. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code will be 238320- Painting and Wall Covering Contractors, which has a size standard of $16.5 Million. The estimated award date of this contract is September 2021. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Perform causeway breach bridge repairs at Nome Harbor in Nome, Alaska for the base and options (if awarded). The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work. The Contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and procedures.
