The USPFO for Connecticut intends to issue an Invitation For Bids (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the Demolition of Building 11, Bradley Air National Guard (ANG) Base, East Granby, CT. Project Description: Demolish Building 10011 and restore the building footprint to match the surrounding apron surface. New construction should be compatible with applicable Department of Defense, Air Force, and base design standards. In addition, local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per unified facilities criteria. The contract duration is 180 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238910, with a size standard of $16,500,000.00. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (c)(3) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Bidder/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees,� which applies to this project. The solicitation closing date can be found in Block 13 of the SF 1442. The Government intends to award without discussions. Interested bidders must be registered in SAM.gov.
