- Description
- Solicitation Contractor shall provide all the necessary supplies, equipment, materials, labor and supervision to design and install a complete fire alarm system replacement at the Reynaldo Garza and Filemon Vela Federal Courthouse Building in Brownsville, Texas. This procurement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) with a size standard of $16.5 Million.� All responsible, qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal. For the purposes of FAR 52.236-1, Performance of Work by the contractor, the contractor selected for award shall perform no less than 15% percent of the work.��The source selection process and criteria will be based on the Best Value trade-off methodology.� Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM).� A Pre Proposal Site Visit is scheduled for Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00 am CST at the Reynaldo Garza and Filemon Vela Federal Courthouse, 600 East Harrison Street, Brownsville, Texas.� The proposal due date is Friday, July 2, 2021. The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the solicitation will be electronically posted on sam.gov�(Contract Opportunities).� No telephone requests for documents will be accepted.� �All answers will be provided in writing and will be available on the aforementioned Contract Opportunities posting.��Request for Clarification or Interpretation should be made not less than 15 calendar days prior to the proposal due date . Requests should be submitted via email to rosalva.ramos@gsa.gov.� Answers to all RFIs will be included in an amendment to the solicitation. --End of Solicitation-- Amendment 0001 dated June 21, 2021 Amendment 0001 is�issued to incorporate the Request for Information (RFI) Log dated June 21, 2021.
