- Description
- Special Notice: Contract Number: W900KK-21-9-0007 Awardee DUNS: 079529722 On 28 June 2021, in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2371b, the Army Contracting Command Orlando has awarded an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) for thePersistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE)-Cyber Innovation Challenge (CIC) #4 Prototype Project requirement. A Request for Solutions for PCTE CIC #4 was issued through Federal Business Opportunities on 24 Aug 2020, which resulted in the submittal of 24 total responses. After evaluation of initial submissions, six vendors were selected to participate in Phase II Demonstrations. Simspace Corporation was selected for an award valued at $54,500,000.00 on 28 June 2021. The PCTE solution is a platform that fulfills the critical need for the Cyber Mission Force (CMF) to train across the spectrum for cyberspace operations at the individual, team, and force continuum levels. PCTE provides the CMF with a standardized, self-service training platform that empowers the CMF to plan, prepare, execute, and assess training through a persistent, on-demand ecosystem of capabilities to shape, conduct, and reuse high fidelity training environments. Through this ability to standardize, simplify, and automate the training management lifecycle used by CMF operators, PCTE supports United States Cyber Command mission readiness priorities. Successful completion and acceptance of this Agreement will be defined as signed Certificates of Completion (CoCs) for all exercised Contract Line Items Numbers, whereby the prototype is determined to be effective and suitable, and by completion of all activities and deliverables identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Note: Should the selected vendor fail to demonstrate progress or be unsuccessful in the accomplishment of the goals of this prototyping effort, the Government reserves the right to return to the results of this competition and award additional Other Transaction Agreements to one or more of the vendors that responded to the initial Request for Solutions, as appropriate within the scope and evaluated results of the competition.
