- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to extend the closing date to 12:00EST, Wednesday, July 7th in order to answer these vendor questions associated with this Scope of Work (SOW) below: Are there one line diagrams for the facility that show it s electrical distribution? Yes Will the fans for the capacitor cabinet be controlled on a thermostat? Confirmed with supplier, unit was engineered with just convection, no fans required. With respect to the fans for the capacitor cabinet, presently none exist. Who will be responsible for the design of the size, location and controls for these fans? See question number 2 answer. Are as built drawing available for T1, T2, T3 transformers. (wiring diagram, physical build, LTC Drawings)? Tapchanger control is a Beckwith digital tapchanger control M-2001C base T, Reinhausen Load tapchanger type RMV-A 1320 (vacutap), Areva 3 phase load-tap changing transformer 23,000v delta/4160Y. Where exactly are the heating elements for the LTC to be placed? Heating elements already exist, direct replacement. The FboNotice cause of the LTC not operating in cold temperatures may be due to more than the oil being more viscous. We suggest testing and inspecting the LTC for other possible causes before installing an oil heater. Should we include an option to include testing and inspection prior to installing oil? The heating elements are already in place, direct replacement. Are we cleaning HV and LV connection points on all transformers? Or just T1, T2, T3? T1, T2, T3 and the 2 manual tapchangers behind Building 18. The two tap changers called out in #3 of the scope of work, we believe were transformers connected to the two fused load interrupters. Please confirm/clarify? This is correct, a revised SOW will be uploaded with this amendment. In the scope it does not appear that the oil replacement for the four green Padmount transformers located down the outside courtyard stairs are included. However it was mentioned at the site visit. Please confirm that the four green Padmount transformers are to be included. If so, is there any information on the Green Padmount transformers located down the outdoor stairs? The four green Padmount transformers oil sample report came back good and does not need to be included in the Scope of Work. In the scope it does not appear that the cleaning of the two fused load interrupters was included however it was mentioned at the site visit. Please confirm that the two fused load interrupters are to be included. Yes, they are to be included as one unit with the fixed no load tap changers. Manufacturer for that capacitors? Hayden Switchgear, 41 Ward Road, Lancaster, NY All other terms and conditions remain the same.
