Description
The Regional Health Contracting Office Pacific at Fort Shafter, Hawaii intends to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed price, non-personal services contract for Courier Services at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital for the Department of Pathology and Pharmacy.� This requirement is for a period of performance on or around 1 December 2021 � 30 November 2022 (base period), with four (4) one-year option periods and FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. Required qualifications for courier services includes but is not limited to: The Contractor shall have a car/van with functioning A/C.� This vehicle shall be utilized to transport the laboratory, pharmaceutical items and medical supplies within temperature-controlled coolers.��� The contractor shall have car insurance for all vehicles. Proof of insurance shall be submitted with offers and remain active with no lapses for the duration of the contract. The Contractor shall have a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling and transportation of clinical diagnostic specimens, pharmacy boxes, supplies and laboratory/pharmacy related paperwork. The Contractor shall provide a list of designated couriers/drivers by area of the USFK installations, who shall have complete knowledge of physical location and functions of the various departments of the Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) in order to pick up and deliver to the correct department within the required dates and times.� The Contractor shall provide a Quality Assurance Plan that complies with the College of American Pathologists standards for transporting laboratory specimens, to ensure that temperature-controlled container and vehicles, and all other necessary materials, which are needed for medical-specific courier services, perform as intended.�� The proposed acquisition will be solicited as unrestricted.� The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 492210 and the annual size standard is $30.0 M.� The solicitation will be available on the beta SAM.gov website (https://beta.sam.gov/) on or around 8 July 2021.� No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.� The Contracting Officer is Ms. Kanoelani Sing-Ching (kanoelani.c.sing-ching.civ@mail.mil) and the Contract Specialist is Ms. Jayme Nagao (jayme.c.nagao.civ@mail.mil).
