- NOTE:� All responses to this IFB shall submitted through FedConnect in accordance with the instructions provided in the solicitation. The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project.� The work includes removing, relocating and rebuilding approximately 2-miles of 115-kV transmission line from existing structure 14/6 to new structure 16/1 on the Airport-Boyd 115-kV transmission line with 795-kcmil, ACSR, 26/7 �DRAKE� Conductor, and one (1) 0.465-inch, 48-fiber optical ground wire (OPGW). OPGW will be strung into Airport Substation.� The location of the project is Larimer County, CO and the estimated completion date is 250 calendar days after notice to proceed.� The estimated order of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.� FAR Part 14 is being utilized for this requirement.� The solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237130; Size Standard is $39.5M. The solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued electronically at this site on or about 16 July 2021 at the following sites: https://www.fedconnect.net and https://www.fbo.gov/ NOTE: the Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed. Bidders must identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in United States) included in their bid. Please check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic material.
