- SUBJECT:� Tampa Harbor Maintenance Dredging 34-Foot Project, Upper Channels Hillsborough County, Florida SOLICITATION NUMBER:� W912EP21B0008 RESPONSE DATE:� August 18, 2021 CONTRACT SPECIALIST NAME & PHONE NUMBER:� Jennifer Carter (239) 221-2029 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project consists of a base and three options as indicated below. For the Base and two dredging options, channels will be dredged to a required depth of 34 feet MLLW with 2 feet of allowable overdepth and all dredged material shall be disposed of in the Dredge Material Placement Facility (DMPF) 3-D, located approximately 4 nautical miles South from Port Sutton Entrance Channel. Work also includes environmental species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, bird monitoring, sea turtle trawl sweeping and overall management of disposal operations at DMPF-3D. Base - Work consists of estimated 62,000 CY maintenance dredging the locations shown on the drawings within the Upper Sparkman and Lower Sparkman channels. Option A - Work consists of estimated 23,000 CY maintenance dredging the locations shown on the drawings within the Ybor channel. Option B - Work consists of estimated 50,000 CY maintenance dredging the locations shown on the drawings within the East Bay Extension channel. Option C - Work consists of the repair of the southern dike slope on DMPF-3D and existing gully locations shown on the drawings. The repair will include the use of fill material sourced from inside of the southern end of DMPF-3D as well as the installation of a rip-rap revetment. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS:� NAICS Code: 237990 Small Business Size Standard: $30.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Estimated Period of Performance is 230 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about July 19, 2021 and bids will be due on or about August 18, 2021. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED REQUIREMENT.
