- This announcement is a ""SOURCES SOUGHT"" only. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Your response to this announcement will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing the NuVasive Pulse surgical platform and ancillary items (or equal) to the VA San Francisco Healthcare System, San Francisco, CA 94121. All items will be delivered 60 days ARO. Items (all quantities are one (1) each: Pulse 3D Navigation (Pulse Core with 3D Navigation) part number PULSE3D Pulse LessRay and Navigation Array Set for CIOS Spin part number PULSELRCIOS Pulse Navigation Instrument Set part number PULSENAVINS Pulse Navigation Drill Guide Set part number PULSEDRILLGUIDE Reline Polyaxial Navigation Instrument Set part number RELNAVSPOLY Items are to be shipped to the VA San Francisco Healthcare System in San Francisco, CA. The items will be FOB Destination and should be delivered within 60 days ARO. Salient Characteristics: Surgical Navigation Platform must have: Surgical platform must work in collaboration with the Siemens Cios Spin 3D mobile imaging platform Neuromonitoring with modalities for EMG, free-run EMG, MEP, SSEP and other computer-assisted surgery applications Platform must include nerve avoidance and navigation, nerve monitoring and instrument navigation System must include spinal cord monitoring and peripheral sensory nerve monitoring Platform must be computer-assisted with rod-bending technology Platform must have intraoperative angular assessment tools Navigation system must be designed to have reduction in radiation emission of 75% Navigation system must have surgical planning and intraoperative assessment tools to help surgeons correct or restore spinal alignment System must have 2D and 3D imaging and navigation Platform must have software applications designed to integrate robotics and smart tools Data transfer must be LAN/WLAN1 Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the items listed above. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, DUNS number, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number with the subject line NuVasive Pulse . All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov), and Representations and Certifications must be completed prior to any future award. Any offeror capable of providing this service shall notify the Contracting Officer by e-mail by July 6, 2021 at 5PM PST. The NAICS Code is 339112, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing with a size standard of 1000 employees. The Federal Supply Code is 6515. If your firm is an SDVOSB, it must be registered with VETBIZ. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at Ronald.Donez@va.gov. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within of the discretion of the Government.
