Description
This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Bldg. 472 Repair Conference Room 269 and Bldg. 580 Electrical. Building 472 Repair Conference Room 269: Contractor shall remove all wall base as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove all carpet as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove all wall paper as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove mini blinds as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove white boards (94�x8�) as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove existing TV/monitor mounting bracket and salvage for reinstallation in the exact same location as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove existing thermostat and salvage for reinstallation in the exact same location as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove all acoustical ceiling tiles only, existing grid to remain as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove eight (8) recessed can light fixtures from acoustical ceiling and dimmer switch as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove power outlet in ceiling cavity and power switch. Remove all wiring to the nearest junction box, as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove double gang switch. Remove all wiring to the nearest junction box. Wall box and conduit to remain in place to be reused as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove single gang switch, wall box and conduit. Remove all wiring to the nearest junction box as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove double gang switch. Wall box and conduit to remain in place to be reused as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall remove water fountain and prepare location for installation of new water fountain as specified as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall patch and prepare all walls to receive new finish as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall apply wall texture to match walls in adjacent corridor as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall apply paint finish. One (1) coat of primer and two (2) coats of paint as indicated on drawings. Paint color to be determined by the user on site. General contractor to provide a color chart for the user to select three (3) colors. General contractor will paint one (1) square of 2�x2� feet with each color for the user to make the final selection. Contractor shall provide and install new carpet tile. Style m7955 - color 00485 deep navy, size 24� x 24� as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install new rubber wall base, 4"" cove, color black as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide a new duplex power outlet (5'-0� A.F.F.) adjacent existing TV/monitor mounting bracket. Contractor is responsible for finding a circuit with enough capacity to support the additional load as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install a 2�x4� wall box (5'-0� A.F.F.) adjacent existing TV/monitor mounting bracket, with 1� diameter conduit extending 4� above the ceiling. Provide cover plate with RJ-45 termination as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install CAT6 cable from new wall box to the existing floor box using the existing conduit recessed in the slab as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install: One (1) conference table with capacity for 10 people. All steel, ""structure panel base"" with two (2) center cutouts with recessed data/comm./power plugs. Tabletop and base panels finish to be premium laminate phantom Charcoal Soft grain finish with aeon - 8214k-12, as indicated on drawings. Ten (10), ""EVO"" conference chair, upholstery to be midnight rush11, frame finish polished aluminum. Contractor must provide all work and materials to connect power and data to table as needed as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install one (1) 4' x 8' glass whiteboard, magnetic dry erase, white surface. Glass whiteboard, magnetic dry erase white board, 8' x 4', white surface.� Contractor must ensure the mounting standoffs provide at least �� clear from face of wall to the back of the glass whiteboard as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install two (2) 4' x 6' glass whiteboard, magnetic dry erase, white surface. These are to be mounted covering existing windows. Quartet glass whiteboard, magnetic dry erase white board, 8' x 4', white surface. Contractor must ensure the mounting standoffs provide at least �� clear from face of wall to the back of the glass whiteboard as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall clean doors (2) and remove marks on both leaf sides as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install two (2) kick down door stops. Match existing door hardware finish as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install 8"" wood chair rail. Finish to be premium laminate phantom charcoal Softgrain finish with aeon (8214k-12). Mounting height to be determined on site as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install 2'x 2' acoustical ceiling tiles. Match existing as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install two (2) switches to override power for each set of ceiling mounted 2' x 4' light fixtures. Use existing power source, wall box and conduit. Contractor is responsible for confirming the existing circuit can support the added load. Contractor must label the switches with the corresponding circuit as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install two (2) new dimmer switches to control each set of ceiling mounted 2' x 4' light fixtures as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide eight (8) chairs for additional seating.� Multi-purpose side chair with arms, no wheels. Chair upholstery - Midnight rush11, frame finish polished aluminum as indicated on drawings. Contractor shall provide and install water fountain, Bottle Filling Station with Single ADA Cooler Hands Free Activation, Non-Filtered Refrigerated Light Gray as indicated on drawings. � Building 580 Electrical: Change (11) duplex receptacles to quad-plex receptacles by adding additional duplex to each and replacing cover, add (2) quad-plex receptacles to existing blanked-off boxes which currently have 1-phase 208V circuits by upgrading wire and circuit breakers as necessary, and extend circuit 25/27 box to over work station and install existing cord-reel removed from Room 141 (includes upgrading wire and circuit breaker as necessary and removal of down-wall conduit associated with ckt 25/27). Materials Laboratory (ML) - Remove existing SO for (2) duplex receptacles and add longer SO cords and quad-plex receptacles (includes relocating one of these approx. 5' to south), remove (1) cord-reel and replace with SO-cord drop quad-plex receptacle (position centered with work station), and relocate (1) existing cord reel approximately 10' to the east. Service Chase - Add (1) duplex to existing duplex and fit with correct quad-plex cover, remove (1) GFCI and replace with quad-plex, and add (4) 3-phase 30A Twist Lock receptacles from Panel P1 for existing and future cryogenic chillers (including rearranging Panel P1 if necessary to fit new breakers). Provide new and updated panel schedules (includes identifying breakers not currently identified on panel schedules), and circuit labeling.
