- Amendment 0002 dated July 2, 2021: �The purpose of this notification amendment is to extend the date for receipt of quotes to July 30, 2021. A subsequent amendment will be issued prior to the date for receipt of quotes to address questions received and any necessary changes to the requirement. Amendment 0001 dated June 25, 2021:�The purpose of this notification amendment is to extend the date for receipt of quotes to July 9, 2021.� A subsequent amendment will be issued to answer questions received. ----End of Amendment---- GENERAL INFORMATION: This solicitation is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and corresponding attachments constitute the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government will award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract resulting from this Request for Quote (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. The Product Service Code (PSC) is V231, Transportation/Travel/Relocation- Travel/Lodging/Recruitment: Lodging, Hotel/Motel), with a small business size standard of 35 million dollars. This Request for Quote is being issued on an unrestricted basis allowing for full and open competition.�This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05, dated 10 March 2021. Funds are not presently available for this action. This solicitation is being issued Subject to the Availability of Funding.� FAR Clause 52.232-18 included in this solicitation and any resulting award provides additional information regarding the government's liability as the result of any award subject to funding. The Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) requires lodging, event space, parking, and catering within a fifteen (15) mile radius of Richmond, Virginia for an estimated 1650 attendees and staff March 11-3, 2022. COMMUNICATION WITH THE GOVERNMENT: Questions: Submit written questions via email ONLY to contract specialist Wesley Spencer at wesley.spencer4.civ@army.mil and Jennifer Schwarz at jennifer.schwarz.civ@army.mil. No phone calls will be accepted. Questions will be received until June 24, 2021, at 2:00 pm Eastern Time. BASIS FOR AWARD: An award(s) will be made to the vendor(s) whose quote meets all minimum requirements in accordance with the performance work statement(s) and is the lowest price considering the potential for multiple awards.� More than one award may be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.212-1(h), Multiple Awards. In evaluating overall cost, the government will add an evaluation factor of $500.00 per award. As multiple awards may be made, interested vendors are not required to quote all line items.� However, as all event space and services shall be provided at one location, vendors quoting event services only (no lodging) must provide a quote or clearly state, not separately priced or no charge, on line items�0002 Event Space, and�0003 Catering, including all corresponding subline items. Vendors quoting lodging are only required to provide pricing for line item 0001.� In order to be considered for award, vendors shall have an active registration in the System for Award Management at https://sam.gov. �Vendors are responsible for ensuring the representations and certifications in their SAM registration are accurate and current. All quotes shall be submitted via email ONLY to Wesley Spencer at�wesley.spencer4.civ@army.mil and Jennifer Schwarz at jennifer.schwarz.civ@army.mil. All quotes submitted after the described date and time may be determined UNRESPONSIVE. In accordance with the addendum to 52.212-1, responses shall include the following: Price Schedule (completed unit and total amount per contract line item number). Vendors may propose an alternate CLIN structure as long as it approximates the CLIN structure in the solicitation. Response to 252.204-7016 Response to 252.204-7017 Response to 52.212-3. �The Offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision IF the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certification electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) accessed through https://www.sam.gov. If the Offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the Offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (v) of this provision.� The government will incur no costs associated with the preparation of the quote.
