- The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting offers for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract type with an estimated Not to Exceed (NTE) shared capacity of $10 Million. The ordering period is anticipated to be one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The Government anticipates to award three (3) Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for road and general construction work. Additional awards, at Forest Service discretion, may be considered depending on Forest Service need and results for proposal evaluations.� Associated with this Solicitation is the initial Task Order Pricing Requests for two task orders anticipated to be awarded in conjunction with award of the IDIQ contracts.� Prospective offerors are required to submit quotes for both of the initial task orders advertised with this IDIQ.� Future task orders will be competed amongst the IDIQ contract awardees utilizing the procedures identified in Section G of the forthcoming Solicitation. Scope of Work: The Government intends to make multiple awards of Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts for road construction and related services. Work includes general road, bridge, structure work, and site work as identified, but not limited to: Road and trail: Work includes repair and construction of native surface, gravel or paved roads; and road repair and reconstruction due to damage from human or natural causes. Road and trail decommissioning: Work includes de-compaction, partial or full re-contour to restore the roadway to a hydrological stable condition; removal of drainage structures and associated fill to restore site to natural contour; work may include excavation of stream channels without drainage structures; installation of gradient control devices in channels or sediment basins; tree transplanting; rock/log scattering; seeding, fertilizing and mulching; and the construction of waterbars. Construction: Demolition/construction of small non-residential building. Bridge: Work includes repair and construction of steel, concrete, and timber road bridges; reconstruction of approaches; and related stream work within the project area. Trail bridges readily accessible by conventional road building equipment: Work includes construction or reconstruction of bridge. Site will be accessible from National Forest system roads or trails, or other public roads. Culverts, Aquatic Passage Structures, and Ancillary Structures: Work includes road structures for aquatic passages, bottomless arches, small bridges, retaining walls, and cattle guards that are part of National Forest roads. Related work includes signs; guardrails; closure devices such as gates, cattle guards, fences; stream grade; alignment control; scour protection; and other work typically performed by road construction and excavation type contractors. TASK ORDER PROJECT CHANGE Pine Grove is removed. Replace with Hanging Rock.
