- Description
- The 183d Wing Base Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Quote to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform the Repair Offices Upgrades in Springfield, IL (Sangamon County). The 183d Wing Recruiting office is moving to the first floor of Building 1. The existing space has been used as a gym and needs to be renovated in order to be converted to office space. Work of this contract comprises providing all materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to renovate the approximately 1,100 square foot space in Building 1 in order to convert it to the new 183d Wing Recruiting Office. This will include but is not limited to: removing existing mirrors, remove and replace existing flooring, painting interior walls/columns, construct new vestibule, and install new electric heater in vestibule. The contract duration is 59 days or less after notice to proceed (NTP). This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237110, with a size standard of $39,500,000. The magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees� applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is mid July 2021. The tentative date for the site visit is on-or about 22 July 2021, 1:00PM local time, location will be in solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow site visit registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. The Request for Quote closing date is scheduled tentatively around first part of August 2021. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
