- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) at China Lake, CA intends to procure the following on a competitive 100% Small Business Set Aside basis: a total of two (2) new Abrasive Waterjet Cutting Machine Centers with Computer Numerical Control in support of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest and Fleet Readiness Center East. NEW EQUIPMENT ONLY. NO USED OR REMANUFACTURED PRODUCTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333517, with a company size standard of 500 employees. The anticipated Product Service Code (PSC) is 3449. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at https://www.acquisition.gov/ Complete details of this requirement are provided in the RFQ. Offerors may submit questions requesting clarification of solicitation requirements via electronic mail to Joanna Capazzi at joanna.m.capazzi.civ@us.navy.mil. It is requested that all questions be received no later than 12 JULY 2021. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Responses are due no later than 20 JULY 2021. All responsible offers that include all information requested in this RFQ will be considered for award. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled information in Contract Opportunities within beta.sam. See the DLA website for the Joint Certification Program:� https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/ To be eligible for an award, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at website www.sam.gov Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated.� It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an ""Active"" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an ""Active"" SAM registration.� More information can be found at www.gsa.gov/samupdate.
