- ******** Amendment 0001********** Industry Question:�Is this for a replacement pump?�If so, I�d like a serial # to make sure we are quoting correctly.�I need more specifications on the SEW VFD and the cart to quote this.� Government Response: It is new pump, not a replacement. The pump must be stainless steel. We have used Danfoss VFDs in the past. �I do not have any more info on the VFDs that is not already available through the manufacturer. You may propose a VFD in your quotation. ******** End of Amendment 0001********** This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM.gov. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N3904021Q0244. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2021-05 and DFARS Change Notice 2021-0603. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333914 and the Small Business Standard is 750 employees. This is a Brand Name Mandatory solicitation. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside solicitation to the suppliers that can provide Waukesha Cherry-Burrell Centrifugal Pumps in accordance with the specifications of Attachment 1. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from sources capable of providing the following: Quantity of two (2) Waukesha Cherry-Burrell Centrifugal Pumps in accordance with Attachment 1 � Specifications. See attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) sheet for details. Place of Performance: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. Award may be made based on fastest delivery.
